This weekend has been a blur of dogs, fun and laughter!!! I want to thank Jim Carretta for taking the lead on our Annual NCLC Fall Specialty and getting it done for us!! Beth and I could not have done it with out Jim. He did it all for us this year!! Thanks Jim!!! This year due to scheduling conflicts amongst the 3 of us and the Colusa County Fairgrounds, we had to find a new venue in order to put on the Fall show. We were fortunate that the Lions Gate Hotel wanted to host our people and dogs again! We had a fabulous Pot Luck on Friday featuring Hamburgers and Hotdogs brought by Cindy and Doug from his Organic Meat Company! Add to that wonderful food brought by our members and great company and you have a wonderful pre-show dinner. Leftovers and raffle and I think much wine, made for an even more entertaining Saturday night dinner! Most importantly, I would like to thank our judges, Mary Decher and Agi Hejja. Mary had to judge in the pouring rain all day on Saturday. We were all wet and muddy by the end of Saturday, but Mary was a trooper and never stopped smiling! I think it might have reminded her a bit of home. Agi was lucky to have a cool but SUNNY day to judge in. Thank you ladies for traveling to us to judge our show!!
